Taking Action


You may be wondering where you would fit in the time to take care of yourself and your health needs. If that's you, don’t worry because a lot of people are wondering the same thing. Is it doing more of the basics and letting go of other unnecessary to-do’s? Perhaps. Perhaps not. That is up to you on figuring out what fits your lifestyle. 


Set a timer for 10 minutes. Close your eyes in a comfortable position, but don’t let yourself fall asleep because you are going to be doing an exercise in your mind. This is called the ideal self exercise… You are imagining your ideal state of being. From the moment you wake up, where are you at and what do things look like? What do you look and feel like? Go about the day visioning what your ideal life looks like. Get as detailed as possible. Maybe you need 30 minutes to do this depending on how detailed you go. The more details the better. This is your ideal state of being.


Now come back to the present moment. Ask yourself, where do I need to start in order to become my ideal self? Making the smallest change is better than not changing at all. So what is that small change of action? Now is the time to start for the betterment of your life.
